Game Jam Results
This weekend, I helped out with the Pittsburgh version of the Global Game Jam. It went well, not too many crazy problems, and everyone seemed to do fine. I was assigned to help with the technical problems but it seemed that for the most part everyone was using what they knew and they did not need that much help. In the end, the work that was shown at the end of the 48 hourse turned out great; I was really impressed with everyone’s games.
In the meantime. I was stupposed to make a game with Andy (for fun without the Jam pressure), but instead I got the beginnings of an idea we had for the iPhone. I took the weekend to at least get familiar with the iPhone/Apple development tools, which was something I wanted to do for a while, and I was pretty satisfied with what I got so far, but definitely not something I would call a game. I’ll try to work on it bit by bit while trying to learn the iPhone stuff to the point that we can call it a game.
